An Extraordinary Day of Vital Conversation, Learning and Opportunity
On June 14th, The National Organization of Minority Engineers had an awesome show of support at our 4th Annual NOME Leadership Summit. The Summit had an impressive program of government and industry leaders as featured speakers and panelists. The event started with continental breakfast which gave attendees a jump start to a day of education and networking. Educational credits were also earned as part of the offerings of the Summit. Audrina Bigos, CBS Chicago Reporter was our beautiful and talented emcee for the NOME Premier and Champion Awards Luncheon. She helped present awards honoring Rebekah Scheinfeld, Commissioner, CDOT and Jamie Rhee, Chief Procurement Officer, City of Chicago for their outstanding leadership in Diversity in the Engineering Community. Awards honoring the exceptional engineering projects by NOME members were given to Infrastructure Engineering, Delta Engineering Group and MIlhouse Engineering and Construction. The day ended with great networking at our Business Connect Reception. The event was a One Stop Shop for attendees to make connections to help expand their business.
This is an annual event! – Make sure you don’t miss out on the opportunity to be IN THE KNOW at our next NOME Leadership Summit presented in June of 2019
